I have an atrocious head-ache and it's all my fault. I bought my dinner at Grade A Restaurant, a place on Grandville somehow left over from the early seventies, and without thinking, I ordered something with meat. I was always hoping for insane but the universe doesn't seem to be under any obligation to give us exactly what we want.

*nods* I've been going for at least ten years, one and off. Usually I dont' regret it, but this time... Gads, it tasted like beef, but in that American way where the animal was likely half plastic melting in chemicals by the time it was killed, probably inhumanely.

So you usually only order vegetarian stuff at Grade A?

Reminds me of the Homer Cafe, another holdover from the era of the greasy diner that I finally checked out recently. Expected a similar crowd, but it was lots of youngish hipsters. And the meat dish was actually OK and headache-free...
