The biggest news of the day: South Dakota has passed a law that outlaws abortion in almost all cases and does not protect a woman in cases of rape or incest or even when her health is in danger. Doctors who violate the ban could face up to five years in prison ( Read more... )

I was just about to post a link to my blog. It's a Vitamin C and parsley recipie probably similar to the one jhayne posted about.

And send those coathangers! I sent one box before with a note saying "If you make abortion illegal you're going to need these", and I have a box ready to send with a note that says "Since you've made abortion illegal.....and people were commenting on how I was overreacting. I wish.

the way my country is heading more and more to the right makes me physically ill. i fear that i will be raising my son in a country that once again sees women's bodies as public domain. anyone know what it takes to be able to live in canada as an american citizen?

I've no idea, personally, though I know that someone on here, (can't remember who for sure but I think it's breklor), works for the canadian government in a position where they look at that sort of thing.

I don't even know what that is. I'm still slowly waking up. The way I've been able to parse this is "Ziggy is asking me how either to become a prostitute of a preist. he should ask Ryan."

"...I haven't mentioned the intelligent, well-educated people who are pro-choice. I know these people exist and am glad for them. In this case, I mentioned the under-educated because that's all that I, personally, have met in front of clinics."

I think what you mean are the "Pro-Life" faction (funny how neither side is against anything). In the US anyway, "Pro-Choice" means people who are for the ability of the individual woman to make the choice as regards having an abortion, and "Pro-Life" means those who regard the sanctity of any unborn life to be equal to or greater than the life of the Mother.
