My mother writes a splendid explanation of her time at the University of British Columbia.

Earlier this week, Jenn came down for breakfast and gave me a packet of glow-in-the-dark fridge letters. I just opened them tonight. Sliding one nail under the plastic and attempting to pry it free of the thin cardboard backing launched every little letter ( Read more... )

Sounds like fun. I've lost count of how many people I've met off of the internet. At one time I had it at 250, but that's at least 75 - 100 people behind now. Most weren't worth remembering, but a few were very special and are friends.
