I am not Femme and I don't play her on television, but I'd like to suggest that you be proactive and wait for the next round of open membership to join with your age statement. Otherwise, Femme will have to search down this comment of yours, and everyone else who posts similarly, and enter the memberships manually. Considering how many people that is, it's just not practicable.

As my LJ bio says, I am over fifty, married, and the mother of four. I was a member of this community before. Will this be sufficient to make me one again? Hope so. :D

I know Femme is swamped, and since I can answer this I will. You'll need to join the comm when it re-opens membership and add an age statement to the appropriate post. The age statement has to be in the correct post so it can be found again, and people have to join the comm themselves because inviting people manually is simply too time consuming during this massive overhaul.

please see djinnj's comments to the folks above... the age statements will need to be in the appropriate post (which, presumably, femmequixotic will establish when joining the community is open again), and she'll likely not be able to come back and find other comments in posts like this one.
