I don't know if this falls under the category of porn--if not, feel free to delete. Basically what I want to "rage" about takes place in my dorm. It is not a public place, it is a dorm, so...this makes it not so relevant to the rest of you. Still it bugs me. This idiot living a couple doors down from has been drawing pictures of girls giving ( Read more... )

Oh that is harassment, and if it makes you uncomfortable there is no question it should be taken down. I'm pretty sure almost any college will have something in their resident policy somewhere that makes this clear. If not, there should be.

That's definitely sexual harassment. If there's someone over the R.A.'s head you can complain to, that'd be a good idea.

I think it does. The whole "hostile environment" thing. I'm sure it would count in a work place, so it ought to count in a dorm. I mean, you have to see it if you live there.

Do you know if it bothers any of the people whose doors it appears on?

Probably it does. I don't remember whether I added this in the post, but there was an incident a couple weeks back when two girls from the dorm were "asked" to give head to these guys in exchange for a ride back home from a party at 4 am.,...so maybe they would be upset by it..no?

That's true--about it creating the hostile environment. I will remind him of this...and see if he changes his mind.

No. That's sexual harassment, not a joke. Your RA is wrong, and out of line. There's usually a Director over the RA's, who would be a good person to start talking to. Not only does this activity need to stop, but your RA needs to have it explained to him/her that complaints from students regarding sexually explicit material need to be take seriously.

You might try confronting the guy directly as well. Let him know that what he's doing is unacceptable, and it needs to stop.
