I picked up the new DWM this morning ( Donna cover, durr!), and I'm at work (shhh!), so I've only skimmed through it, and among the extremely cute interviews with everyone who appeared in the finale, they've also printed the script for that cut scene from Journey's End...

Well, it certainly makes it look like they parted on better terms, although I still don't like the fact that he basically dumped his brother in another universe. Btw, I got every part of that technobabble except for shatterfry - what the heck's shatterfry?

Slightly off topic, but I read that there's a list in this issue of what's not going to be in Series 5, could you tell us what it says? *hasn't had an opportunity to get to her local WHSmith*

Well, obviously, shatterfring is the first step in reversing the polarity of the neutron flow.

I'll double-check my issue, but I don't think there are any spoilers to be had about Season 5. I'll let you know!

I would have much rather had this sort of ending for Doctor 2 and Rose than the lameass ending we all had to watch (although I didn't mind the snogging, but I digress...).

But...the ending, as-is, does leave the door open for more possibilities with the universes colliding again in the future. Hmmmmmm
