Thanks. It does make sense for him to go looking for it. He would've done even if Helen knew and told him not to I think.

OMG!!!! I could kiss you.

This is so gorgeous. GAH!!

I shall refrain from quoting the whole damned fic, and try to stick to a couple of highlights.

By time they reached the Sanctuary again, she was furious, aching on the inside more than her muscles did, blinded with tears almost and headed straight to her room to wash off the dirt and betrayal.

I read this sentence about 5 times before going on. Then went back to it when I was further down the page, just to read it some more. It's just so poetic and painful and gorgeous.

without her boots they were the same height and she wished for a pair of heels because he deserved to be looked down upon.

This is SO Helen and I could completely feel it with her in the moment. It's her safe ground, one of her ways of keeping the upper hand, guarding herself.

“Ignorance is bliss?”

I could just hear her voice here, the bitterness and ache and see her facial expression, and see her eyes just like I was watching the episode.

"How dare you even assume you feel a fraction of the hurt I do ( ... )

I'm so glad you liked it, but you're comment with all your thoughts on the episode really helped make it, I just fleshed it out really. I spent all afternoon and evening on it, with your comments open in another tab. Feels like cheating a little, but seeing it's as you wanted it, success!
