I haven't gotten over this one for ONE MOMENT since hearing it back in '06. I can't even really pinpoint what it is about it that makes it so special -- I mean, the parts are plenty amazing: all the eerily unsettling background details that crawl under your skin, the beat that stomps with grim determination, John Foxx's impeccably disaffected vocal; but the sum is SO much greater even than all that.

(The video edit isn't quite as effective as the full length versh, inevitably, but said full length versh isn't on youtube, alas. :/)

Don't we have enough stuff through from the assassinated archduke already? I didn't get to vote for much of the 2003 polls but I have looked back and you let through half the album which I cannot understand as "Take Me Out" is surely the only thing they have ever done of significant worth?
