Heh. The Tardis is Dr. Who's time traveling ship, that has camouflaging tech that got stuck as as a phone booth.

Theres actually a few times throughout the long running series that the Tardis's Chameleon Circuit (The camoflauging tech) has been repaired, allowing the Tardis to shapechange again. However, it always breaks, returning back to the familiar Police Call Box design.
