- just saw Peter and the Starcatcher, an off-broadway play with music (but not really a musical), based on the book Peter and the Starcatchers, which serves as a prequel to the story of Peter Pan. Literally, one of the most touching and flat out funny productions I have seen in a while! If you have a chance

What, I didn't know they made Peter and the Starcatchers into a musical!! That's amazing! Have you read the books yet? Dave Barry - amazingggg I actually met him before, since he's local and writes for the newspaper and all that, and we've got an annual book fair that he's got an event in and he visits a local bookstore for book signings etc etc... BASICALLY, YOU SHOULD READ THEM.

I've heard about Next to Normal, want to watch it so badly! Unfortunately I'm nowhere near NY, nor do I have the money to do anything ):

BUT YAY ADAM CHANLER-BERAT, even if I only know him because he sang with Jennifer Damiano at some pub and I'm obsessed with her version of Touch Me from Spring Awakening and I got distracted with the related videos on youtube and such.
