First of all, these are CD-rips and much better quality than the 320kbps leaks. There are three editions for this single, but between the regular edition and first press limited edition B, all tracks are covered. Tracks only found on LE:B were ripped by sumo_mona. Personally I’m not a fan of all the B-sides however Loveless knocked me over quite literally (ever since the previews came out on Ria's birthday, of all days! XD). Although my favourite is the instrumental, the title track itself is still beautiful. It’s a mid-tempo ballad-style R&B number and absolutely gorgeous with the PV. Loveless was written by Jin Nakamura, who composed EXILE’s Lovers Again (among others) and THSK’s Proud (among others)… so this guy really delivers. The interlacing of the piano and delicate acoustics with the R&B beat works so well and is a recipe for perfection. The instrumental has re-inspired me to play piano again. My friends complained that the song would’ve been better with another singer, and while I agree on some level, I also disagree. It somehow works BECAUSE of Yamapi’s voice, ironically. ^^;; Three years after his first and only solo release, Yamashita Tomohisa returns with a very different and matured second single - it’s not typical Johnny’s Jpop, but the melody and instrumental (of Loveless) is unrivalled. The rest of the tracks don’t really match the single at all, unfortunately. :(
