Thanks Fox... It did indeed rock. Not perhaps a wild week, but a good week. And I caught a peek at Edward James Olmose (SP) and Gloria Esteffan. (SP again). There were tons more, but to my shame I didn't recognize them. I was so impressed with how gracious the celebs were with the fans.
Meant to tell you that I loved Mandalay! I didn't get to use the pool, but the hotel was lovely. Although I think next time I would really like to stay at the Ballagio. So beautiful.
MB (as I like to call Mandalay Bay, b/c I'm all about abbreviations) is great, and it's too bad you didn't get to check out the pool. That is one of the best things about it. The past few times we've gone in January so we weren't doing any swimming anyway, but next time we go I want to go in the spring/summer and stay at MB so we can use their pool again.
Bellagio is beautiful but somehow seems a little stiff and formal to me...like it's a little too...I don't know...too much GOLD or something. LOL. If that makes any sense. It just strikes me as being aimed more at old people instead of hip young people like myself. (HAH. TOTALLY joking there.)
In a way, Bellagio reminds me of Grand Floridian at Disney. Not cause they look the same, but because they feel the same. over the top elegant and very upper class. I doubt I would be comfortable there for long. But wouldn't mind trying it out for a night or two!
