Santa Needed

The Special Olympics are having a bowling event on December 3rd from 9am to early afternoon. They need someone to play Santa. If you, or anyone you know, may be interested, contact me and I'll put you in touch with the person coordinating the event. I *assume* they have a Santa costume--I will find out more about that

I was the little boy in Mary Poppins. My biggest role ever, as I'm a terrible singer, lol. My parents had given me a Beatle haircut!

I've *very* vague memories of being an angel in a church christmas pagent. I was also Mary once. I don't really remember that one, but, apparently a boy kept turning around to talk to a friend. Every time he turned, he hit me in the head with his wings. Finally I got sick of it, so I got up & hit him.

::grins:: I think anyone who grew up in a Christian setting had a turn at being Mary, Joseph, an angel, a shephard or some sort of barnyard animal. (My sibling had very cute donkey ears. ;)

At least you were getting girl parts in high school, my little Hopie-poo. :)

They offered me a guy's part in one of the shows because none of the guys could hit the notes and my voice was low (well, for a girl) so I could. I told Phil that I'd stick to costumes. :)
