I really like this :D Their interaction, the dialogue, the wealth of implied meaning, how Pete's screwed up and Joe gets that and he stays, anyway or because of.

Great job ♥

Oh, thank you so much! This is perfect. A little achy and sweet in their awkward boy-way and just yes. I think this is exactly what I wanted and I didn't even realize it. :D

Oh man, I am so, so glad you like it. Scene-gone-bad is something that doesn't work for everyone and I was paranoid as heck it wouldn't go right. :D

This fic? I really found it the most interesting, stunning read. The balance and inbalence between Pete and Joe facinated me. You have a very light touch - suggestive, but in a way that is far more showing that spelling it out.

Thank you. This is honestly one of the best compliments I've ever gotten on my writing. :D

I really like this?

(But for some reason my mind is stuck on Mysterious Offscreen Person, because I'm torn between being angry - for values of fiction - at him for leaving Pete in a questionable state, and being grateful that at least Pete's random hookup was someone who left when Pete told him to.)

So, in conclusion, Joe Trohman: \o/ I am not at all conflicted about that.

(Honestly, I've actually spent a shitton of time since I emailed this in thinking about what happened with that scene and what went wrong. I kind of want to write it now. :P)

Thank you!

Oh, boys! This was breathtaking. It made my heart ache for both of them, in a good and bad (in Pete's case) way.

The last two sentences were perfect.
