Radio contests

I tried to win x-tina tickets this morning on Movin (everyone's new fave radio station). I have never won a radio contest and was curious to know if any of my friends are that lucky. Have any of you ever won something on the radio? Please tell me how you did it or if you are just prone to being lucky

i dont think i have ever won a radio contest
though as a kids i tried a few times.
the only thing i ever won was my tv
but that was from my sweat and hard work selling pizza products

I won tickets on LIVE105 to The Gathering of the Tribes festival in the early 90s. It was a precursor to Lollapalooza. It was the easiest thing ever. I called once, got through and won. Crazy. Even crazier, Jeff was there as well, 2 years before we ever met.

I will be living alone over by the parkway. 2 blocks to be exact! It's a pretty sweet place, I'm stoked. Miss you!

I have won over two dozen times on the radio! But...it was all in Lexington Kentucky and all before I was sixteen. But there was this one radio station, WFMI, where I just couldn't lose. Everytime I picked up the phone I won! I've won tickets to see George Michael, Johnny Kemp, Lollapalooza, I've won picnic baskets, countless tapes and CDs including Bruce Springsteen and White Lion...I've won a lot of crap. It got to the point where my parents were totally tired of going down to the radio station to pick the stuff I won up...and the radio station was tired of me winning. But then, they went off the air and my amazing winning streak came to a sad ending. I've won nothing sense. By the way, you should come to dinner tonight for sure.
