One of my cousins has died of brain injuries following a car accident. We knew by Friday (by when, of course, I was already at PUF) that it was pretty much a question of "when"; I had my funeral kit with me at PUF and could have gone to meet my parents needing nothing more than an iron. oh sweet mystery of life, the musics in my head i dont need tunes, this is the news from now, upon finding myself, for immediate release, goddess & the moon, triumphant return, here there be deep emotional bullshit, mama tish knows best, 50 books by poc, traveling fates, i'm so tired, how it is is how it is, neck deep in chickens, sufficient unto the day, adventures in creative tagging, ashley full stop is love full stop, dammit all to shit, festival season, hai guys, be excellent to each other, clicky, skinpunk family, virginia hamilton is for lovers, hurty things, things that are not as awesome as cake, things out of their season, it's all about the love, pagan unity festival rocks my socks, family type people, cake and pie, papal recommendation, just go with it, books, relevant to my interests, not emo but actual grief, oh hanners honey it's okay, still not batman, things that are not awesome at all

I know you're genuine, dear. There's not much to say except "sorry". I wasn't terribly close to him, I wish there was something anyone could have done, but there wasn't, so. And PUF was good and life goes on.

Aw, honey. Thank you. I'm really all right; I got to come to terms with the inevitability of the situation under the influences of some of my most trusted teachers and friends. We'll see where I'm at post-funeral. I'm prepared to take it easy for a little while if I need to.
