I don't think anybody's actually a Yankee fan. New Yorkers are just defending their own grounds, like when a dog pisses on a fire hydrant.

i agree and don't agree... i know some yankee fans that are hardcore, live-and-breath yankees...

...what gets me are the so-called fans that have NO IDEA who ANY of the players are, don't watch the games, or even read about them... but, they need a bandwagon to jump on....

there are plenty of them at work... kind of funny listening to them when they are talking to a hardcore fan, and the hardcore fan getting sick of talking with them really fast.

i am so happy for them! i have to say, while listening to sports radio around here, and they were doing interviews with the coach of the tigers (i honestly forgot his name... sorry!).... that guy is a straight-shooter, and gotta say i liked the guy! very outspoken, yet respectful as well.

and, couldn't be prouder for the team.

i just love the fact also that the yankees spend $200 mil, and they still couldn't get their team to the final show... or make it past the first round! heh!
