...like seriously. Why you gotta be giving me heart attacks? I submitted my assignment with half an hour to go and it tells me it's 15 PERCENT PLAGIARIZED. And I'm going "omg omg omg whut? I DID NOT PLAGIARIZE and now I have half an hour to unplagiarized a non-plagiarized paper?!!" But then I clicked open the details report and of course it picks ( Read more... )

I always forget my borders voucher. ALWAYS. Basically everything I want is special order though, and they always look at me weird. Last time, I ordered 'Havemercy' by the shoebox_project people, and the lady typed it in and said, 'but that's from America!'.

Yes. Yes it is. Which is why I'm ordering it. Because it's from America and not from here. *sigh* /rant

rofl. I love how she's so scandalized. I hate how there are so many things I have to order. I'm keeping a list, but I keep forgetting to bring it with me. How long on average does it take to arrive?

Turnitin is this electronic submission thingy which checks for plagiarism against basically every book and website that ever existed. Except apparently it's very temperamental and lecturers aren't even alarmed these days when it it reports that a submission is 90% plagiarized. XD

Anywhere from a week to a month. Havemercy came in in 10 days, but I ordered a particular Star Wars book (from the Jedi Apprentice series :D), and that took so long I'd forgotten I'd ordered it when they rang me.

My problem with Borders discounts is that I go in to buy one book, but my discount says buy 2 for 20% off or 3 for 30% off and there's all these books I want anyway...I'm so broke..

Lmao, sorry. XD But yeah, it depends on if your markers enable the option for the reports to be available to students. Usually they don't for us, but they must've forgotten this time round. haha.
