Hehe, thank you! That pic where Eames' smile is like a shot through Arthur's heart--eek! And where Eames is smoking a cigar and Arthur is just following him with all the love in his eyes. Oh! I want someone to write it!

But I'm temporarily very satisfied by onthecount's tumblr/youtube/knitting love story. It's all the feelings in reverse. Eames is so smitten. So wonderfully, fully smitten. And Arthur's so cute. It's all about internet awkwardness and love and you're probaby already reading it but I just feel the need to gush, because it gives me all-the-feelings.

I really love this. And, also, I sometimes feel that all stories with public transport in them must be set in DC. This is because my love/hate relationship with the metro is all-consuming, leaving no room at all in my heart for any thoughts of another variety of transportation.

Oh, god, the way I feel about DC transport is so intense and wrought so yes, yes I know what you mean. Because the metro's so funny and whether you're a green line or red line or blue line person makes such a difference in the kind of DC you experience

I have been there. Multiple times even. It's pretty nice. \o/ Don't set it in DC anyway. The Metro is evil and if you are going to have something rotating around public transportation then it shouldn't be evil. It has rapey lighting and the escalators give me vertigo.

And Arthur figuring out his *feelings* and being 20something and Eames kinda having his life together but able to make room for more.

Haha! I love that you want it set in NY. Do you have places that you'd like to show up in it? I now want to make a weird fusion of a city that's New York and DC and just ask people to go with it. Lol, but I'd name it something awful like Inception, because I am the worst namer of things. Thus, labeling this the bus saga.

I'm so glad you like the idea! I'm thinking about it, who they are, their lives. I like the idea of protagonists living independently from each other, and having fairly fulfilling lives that shift and make space for this new, amazing thing that is them.
