Junhyung loves the rain.
an: hello~ this is so random and it's raining here. keke~ But yeah, I wrote a fluff or.. something like that ^^
And I don't know how its get better than this / You take my hand and drag me headfirst, fearless
And I don't know why but with you I'd dance / In a storm in my best dress, fearless.
Junhyung loves the rain. Loves how it makes the ground wet, creating a smell that only the combination of the heat and the rainwater can produce. He loves to listen to the pitter patter of it against the roof, like an unknown melody created by an unknown source. Especially, he loves how the water falls on his head, making his styled hair wet and messy and natural.
Rain is definitely nice.
He stood up from the stair he was sitting, blowing out smoke from his mouth while flicking the cigarette in his hand to the side. He runs his hand through his wet hair, sighing before looking at the almost invisible droplets of rain that's falling like it has never been before. This kind of rain he kind of dislikes but still likes. He likes to stay at his apartment and drink coffee while writing lyrics, sitting in front of his big window while watching the rain fall.
Today though, it's different. Junhyung is outside when he's supposed to be inside enjoying the warmth of his apartment but he had to do something and the rain caught him.
He's ready to say fuck it and be drenched like some poor homeless cat when he heard a tinkling laugh, making him turn to where it came from. He blinks thrice and focus on a figure not far from him, wondering why the hell is this guy outside in this kind of pouring rain. More so, why is he laughing like some lunatic that escaped the mental hospital?
Junhyung can't help but be amused as he watches the guy twirl, palms up, catching the rain on his hand with a big smile on his face. He can't help but adore the guy, so carefree, so cheerful, full of freedom. The guy's hair is dark, midnight dark as the rain fall against it and the white t-shirt clung to his slim form while his jeans is starting to get really wet.
“Hey!” Junhyung hears a shout, soft voice reaching his ear and he turns to the wet guy a few steps away from him.
Junhyung raises an eyebrow in question, throwing the forgotten cigarette to the wet ground on the side.
“Come play with me!” The smile the stranger gives, Junhyung thinks the innocence of this guy is beyond than the teenagers nowadays because an angel can't not be innocent, right?
He shakes his head, forcing a frown on his face. “No. Are you crazy? It's raining cats and dogs.”
The guy tilts his head and looks up at the grey sky with a thoughtful expression before speaking. “But I don't see cats and dogs falling...”
Junhyung facepalmed mentally and thinks that this guy, this guy is too innocent for his liking or maybe too stupid, he can't choose. “What?” He replied, dumbfounded.
Turning his gaze to him, the guy giggles and flicks his wet hair before beaming at Junhyung. “It's not raining cats and dogs, silly! It's raining water! Although, why is water, water?” He finishes with a cute pout as more rain falls on him.
The dumbfound Junhyung gives up. Gives up on making sense with this guy because he thinks, thinks that even if he try to explain why is this and that like this, the guy will have countless more questions after. So he smiles, that rare smile that only comes out when he's with people he's fond of and steps out of the place where he was protected from the rain and towards the guy. He breathes in deeply, the smell of fresh rainwater making him relax and stops in front of the, now he can see clearly, doe-eyed guy.
“It's just a saying, you know. I didn't mean it literally.” He grins down at the guy, blinking up at him and he finds it cute. Too cute for his not cute self.
“Oh... well, I got you to come play with me right?” The eyesmile got him, Junhyung can practically see himself smashing his head to the wall because goddamn it, why is this guy so innocent and childish and just so freaking adorable? He sighs inside him in exasperation and rolls his eyes.
“Yah, do you know how expensive my clothes are? You made me ruin them,” He stated playfully.
The guy grins, wide and bright and very opposite from the weather they're experiencing. “I don't care. Let's go play, handsome stranger!” The guy exclaimed happily before grabbing Junhyung's hand in his and dragging Junhyung along the road, skipping as he do so.
And Junhyung is amazed. Amazed how this stranger made him do that. One second he was smoking, the next he's hanging-out with some childish guy out in the pouring rain. But he doesn't mind 'cause as he looks at the guy, bright smile still in place, he can get use to this. Every droplet, every blow of the wind, every splash against his feet.
I can get use to this, he thought as the doe-eyed guy squeezed his hand before he hears a tinkling giggle that stands out so much from the loud rain that's still falling.
