Why Cough = Wykoff, as in, Professor Wykoff, who semi-publicly weighed in on some of Tony Tiu's comments. Later Tony said that what Wykoff said was taken out of context and that Professor Wykoff is, in fact very supportive (although he likes to maintain a negative public image), but the dialogue basically went like this (I paraphrase): Wykoff told Tony (and everyone else on the email list) that he didn't want to hear about this crap. I was forwarded the message and, just as publicly, told Wykoff he was a dick.

I think this was in regards to the comments against Tony's TSL article made online -- not Wykoff. That's at least what Tony thought when I informed him of it last night.
