"if anything, art grew out of our love of each others' beauty..."

Au contraire, I think Western-medieval art grew out of a love of God's perfection. Only with the humanism of the Renaissance did the focus shift to people, or the beauty of imperfection.

you cannot use the word God next to perfection. those are two terms we've fallaciously used far too often that they cause us to kill each other.

you said the exact same thing that I did using two fallacious terms. think about what I said. think about what you said. they are equivalent. I simply didn't reference god and perfection to make them look so bad, I just accepted that at that time in that era, they needed that, and they were in a self-destructing mode. there is nothing wrong with humanity destroying itself, it just really sucks....like it just saddens us. and we feel cultural empathy.

You are correct, here "love of God's perfection" could also mean "hatred of man's imperfection", and "shift to people" really means "shift from hatred to love", the difference between asceticism and hedonism (or perhaps Epicureanism).

okay, dude. that was awesome. but don't tell just me. I need to sever communications for a while and everyone is making me feel hope that I can make a difference that is good.

so, I can't like, chat dude. because I want to. so badly...talking 'with' (not 'to') people is becoming such a strong addiction in such a short time...that like any other addiction....it is taking over my life.

maybe we need to take more of that self-awareness drug or something.

you know. dxm. not too much...I so far am just getting absent minded...but I'm also not letting it cripple me.

drugs are cures for short periods of time.
