Ok, so after the season 5 finale, where it was glaringly obvious where the whole show should have finished and then when they backtracked so they could have characters left for season 6, I have tried to reserve judgement. The season 6 promos looked pretty epic, truth be told, so I was semi excited to what the season 6 premiere.
( But really now... )

I've just finished watching it and I'm really not sure how I feel about it. I'm hoping (and am fairly confident it will happen!) that there's going to be a big twisty plotline involving all of this.

And I agree about the Cas/Metallicar.

Haven't seen it so I didn't read the post but am currently watching season one with Chris & we just got to Nightmare and oh man I miss THIS show. Last couple of seasons weren't bad just way intense and over the top. I love 1-3 so much more. Bah. But will def catch up and try to stay up to date so we can talk about it this time around!

I am also watching season 1 with my housemate and we just watched Nightmare. SO GOOD. I really like season 4 as well in places as it had some amazing episodes but nothing tops the early seasons.

I am really not feeling the new season though, I can't wait to hear what you think!
