Is there anyway to get pen ink out of fabrics? Id really hate to buy another work vest! Thanks

Yes, what I was going to say. Soak it with hairspray, rub it a bit between your fingers, and rinse the hairspray out. (Assuming it's not dry-clean-only fabric.) Repeat if necessary.

Ditto. Preferably cheap stuff, with a lot of alcohol in it. The alcohol plays a big part.

The rubbing alcohol is the part that actually does the work, so just buying a bottle of that works a lot better than hair spray :)

Rubbing alcohol gets ink out of fabric as long as you haven't washed it.
Just keep soaking and blotting it with the rubbing alcohol until it comes out.
It will also get permanent marker off of skin.

I know the original stain stick used to work. I had a dress that had pen ink on it, and I didn't notice until I had washed and dried it. I thought it was a lost cause, so I just hung it back in my closet until someone had some great idea. My grandmother took it months later and used stain stick on it, and it came out in one wash. Now it has been reformulated, and I haven't had to try it on ink, so I can't say. Mostly I am using it on spilled food these days.
