Around here, places (hospitals, doctors, etc) usually let you make monthly payments. No need for a loan.

it's only worth it if you're willing to pay the insane interest rate

I have 0% with them for a year. not so insane. My credit isn't great, either.

I was approved for $4k so I know they do go up that high.
