I haven't made any, but my mom bought one that has corn kernels in it. It works pretty well.

I have wanted to make my own bread for a while but haven’t made the time to do so. Maybe today… I have, however, been making homemade tortillas for about 4 months now and we eat them almost daily, especially for breakfast.

i've made bazillions of these. any whole grain can be used. i think that flaxseed and rice are the two most common. i've always used rice. i prefer jasmine rice because it smells really nice when you heat it, but plain white rice works fine and is inexpensive.

uncooked (ofcourse) rice, oats or beans will work

I've seen them with lavender and sage too.

My mum use to make them and would put barley in them.

She also use to sew little chambers into the bag, which kept the barley more evenly distributed.
