Hit the road, Jack, and don't come back no mo'

I have bloody scratches all over my legs from a night time frenzy of clawing at bug bites for the past several weeks since we've moved into the red house. I'd begun to think I was crazy, that my "bites" were all in my head. Stress brought on by moving and what-not. Tyson has zero bites, we've searched everywhere for disgusting creepy crawlies, ( Read more... )

Me and Neil have both been getting random bug bites for a couple of years. At different times though. We've pursued every possible angle (including having our apartment fumigated, throwing out all our upholstered furniture and mattress, washing everything on HOT, etc.) and alas, we still get bit. None of our roommates have ever received a bite, nor has anyone who's ever crashed on our couch (unless they didn't tell us), so I am forced to conclude that Neil and I are just allergic to each other.

So...other than me just whining, I'm trying to say....it's nice that you know what's biting you so that you know how to handle it.

I thought I might be developing an allergy to Tyson. I even took antihistamines for like a week before I went to bed, just in case.

Just wanted to say I'm reading your journals. And that I have this weird rash on my leg that I thought was bug bites for a while. It's not. (i don't think). But it is stressful. I wish I could diagnose it, as well. You're lucky.

I'm glad everyone's getting back on the LJ bus. I've missed reading real writing, versus the one-liners of fb.

I'm lucky except for my developing neurosis in which I am now convinced that there are fleas ALL OVER ME ALL THE TIME. My bf calls my intermittent smacking of legs and frantic ruffling of hair "The Fleatown Boogie." It's pretty annoying. But yes, I suppose I'm lucky to know what it is.
