I went to a sing-along show last week where they did that song from Annie Get Your Gun - Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better. It was the first thing I thought of after that match. "City won 5-1? Pfft, check this out." *g*

You sure have started well, although you were lucky at West Brom! They definitely could have gotten something from that one (and probably deserved it). I'm utterly jealous that you got Phil Jones and Ashley Young, though. Our new boys seem to be slotting in decently, especially Downing and Enrique, but man, what I wouldn't have given for Young and Jones as well! And Smalling, damn it.

I never thought I'd say this, but I almost feel bad for Arsenal and their fans. I'm enjoying it, sure, but after what we went through last autumn I almost feel for them. Bad starts are awful for your confidence. I'm sure they'll pull back, though.

Going into the game having seen the City score I was hoping we'd be able to match it, it made me laugh so hard when United went one step further.

Being honest I'd not really seen Phil Jones or Ashley Young before but as with Smalling they looks as if they've been United players for years. They're slightly easing my Giggs retirement fears.

You might have one more new boy by the end of the day although he's more of a new, old boy. Bellamy on a free is quite a good deal, certainly does no harm.

No harm, huh? Heh, tell that to Riise. ;) No, golf clubs aside, I agree it's a good deal. It's obviously a short-term solution considering his age, but I don't mind it for now!

I do mind selling Meireles to Chelsea, though. I mean, seriously? Chelsea, again?

On the bright side, so much dead wood gone - Poulsen, Ngog, even DEGEN! And although we're paying most of Coles wages while he's on loan, it's still better than paying all of them.

heh, I chuckled at myself when I typed that. He does have anger issues but he cracks me up with his constant moaning, I feel better when he plays for Wales as I know the players will get an ear full when they mess up.

You seem to be Chelsea's feeder club, must say Meireles leaving shocked me especially as they announced it so late.

Transfer deadline day is fun for me to watch as United rarely do anything stupid. I just sit back and watch everyone else scramble.
