I'm tired. I'm a little depressed. (Was more so earlier but now for some reason I'm feeling better and even a little hopeful.) I just ordered these three books off of Amazon. (Though I have to note that my Amazon wishlist is still 22 pages long, even though I've bought almost a dozen items that were featured on it now ( Read more... )

Well, given what we were talking about the other night about LiveJournal... what were the chances that I'd end up leaving a comment ;).

I have given up on Amazon wishlists, except for photography gear and Moleskine notebooks. For some reason I don't particularly like buying books from Amazon unless I've already picked them up, read the blurb, maybe the first chapter in my local book shop. That said, for gadgets and DVDs Amazon is pretty good. I'm looking forward to the music download store coming to the UK.

And you rock as a podcast host :).

Oh, and when you go to Dragon*Con, do take a camera, won't you? There needs to be a record of the Robots meeting, even if they're not all there (*sniff*).

Pretty good, I'd guess. *grin* Also, what in the name of all that is grammatically correct is that thing in your user pic??? Every ninja gibbon in a five foot radius has been completely paralyzed by the sight of it.

Oh, I love Amazon. It's got everything. Occasionally I'll meander over to QVC.com for some shiny objects, but I'm a definite Amazon addict. Funnily enough I've bought hardly any gadgets from them-- so far it's almost exclusively been books and music. I also have video games on my wishlist, but try as I might, I just can't bring myself to buy my games from anywhere but eBay. The bargain shopper in me simply refuses. =P

Thank you. ^_^ It's great having you on the show now too, though sometimes I worry we give you enough of a chance to talk.

Oh don't worry. If I go to Dragon*Con there will afterwards be a con report so huge, LiveJournal may not be able to hold it all. =D

Aha. Obviously, I need to read Discworld. I'm sure my dad has it stashed somewhere in his library.

Also I just realized my last comment had a rather glaring typo in it--probably because I was rather hyper and distracted when I wrote it--and as such what I meant to say is that I worry sometimes we don't give you enough of a chance to talk on the podcast. My typo makes it sound quite different. ^_^;;

hen maybe I can start utilizing my time a bit more productively when it comes to writing...

Heh. Laptops are such terrible time sinks. Hopefully whatever you get will have a nice "turn off wireless" type button on it to hit when you need to get stuff done.

*grins* Well, even if it doesn't, I have a feeling I might be able to exercise enough self-control not to surf Amazon or Twitter when I'm supposed to be writing. (She says as she has another look over her own wishlist...)
