Today I got word that one of my friends at work has quit. She was another cashier that I actually hadn't mentioned here, which I should have before now because she's a very sweet lady who was kind of my mom at work. :) We gossiped frequently and I'll definitely miss her, but at the same time I know that she wasn't very happy working at my grocery ( Read more... )

*ahem* As usual, I completely missed that. I'm not sure what else to call him, though. We must speculate upon this during our next phone or MSN conversation. I have the next two days off, and was planning to spend at least some of that time on MSN--will you be available?

I spent almost $200 buying clothes.

Yay, useful stuff! My friend and I went clothes shopping last night; I ended up with about $40 worth of stuff to expand my professional wardrobe. And some fun stuff. Some of it was girly, which scared the hell out of me.

Cool! Mom and I are going out for more shopping tomorrow, both to return some things that didn't fit and get me a couple of extra things that I didn't have time to pick up last week. What scared me is how tiny I've become. I'm actually wearing size 6 jeans and most of my shirts are smalls or mediums. I don't think I've worn anything that small since I was a young preteen. On the one hand it's great that I've lost so much weight, and on the other hand I feel like I am going to blow away in the chilly winter breeze. O_O

I'm worried about you flying away, too. ;) I definitely need to get myself some nice suits, but finding dress pants with pockets is nigh-on impossible. I'm hoping to start working out again this semester and lose some fat so I can actually look like I have an hourglass instead of a pear.
