Eurovision

There will be no Eurovision LJ from me this year. Sorry. I can't bring myself to watch anything that has that utter waste of oxygen 'Jedward' in it.
eurovision
,
what a farce

Yes, seriously. And apparently they're second favourites to win. The world really has gone utterly mad.

I thought the current faviourite theory said Ireland didn't want to win as they couldn't afford to host the Contest, and that's why they put Jedward forward as their entry? Sounds like it's all going wrong for them.

My favourite Eurovision joke so far this year, as seen on Twitter last night:
"Good evening! I'm John!" "And I'm Edward!" "And together we are...Ted and Dougal!"

PS: I have never heard Jedward sing anything. I'd like to keep it that way.

I had the misfortune to hear a snippet of their version of 'Under Pressure' once. My ears bled for a week.

I've not heard anything yet. However some of us are convening over several bottles of wine tomorrow to suffer through it. Won't be blogging it though.

What's blue and can't sing?
You don't really need me to do the "punchline", do you?

No. No I don't.
(especially as I've seen that joke on Twitter and Facebook every day for the past 2 weeks)

Ah, I'd only seen it once.
I don't get out much these days.
