[Orlando] Bloom swears a lot, "probably because I'm back in London." He asks if I can cut some of the expletives out, "because it makes me sound like such a..." But he can't think of the words without swearing again, so we decide to leave it.Ehee. I post this not because I'm having a fangirl moment, but because I RELATE. It's so bad. Is this an ( Read more... )

A lot of us Massachusetts types can't pronounce our R's. I always make fun of my mom when she says "cah" (car). Pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd. I don't know why I didn't inheret her accent. Meh.

Eehee, your drawings are so 1337. Haha. :D

Ahhh! I say "like" wayyy too much! I also do that "I was like, he was like" thing. It's to the point where I have to make an effort not to say "like" five thousand times in a conversation. Doesn't help I was partly raised in the valley girl capital of California. *bangs head*

crikey cobber, look at that knitting! isn't she bewwwwwwdiful!

thinking about the way you talk is wierd. i say like too much as well. i also noticed you were using the word fuck more and more as time went on. and fucker. i am not offended or anything, but how do you point out that kind of observation to someone?

strewth.

this is the second entry i've read this week that talks about a QLD accent? how is it different to, say, a generic Australian accent? i hope i don't have a QLD accent... wierd.

It's not so much sounding like a Queenslander that's terrifying, I'm more worried that I sound like the Charlie's kids. The way people speak in Brisbane doesn't bother me at all, so I guess I should stop worrying.

I asked the american kid at school today if I sounded like Steve Irwin or Paul Hogan today, and I got a very definite no. Hurrah!

I'm really disturbed. It seems like my accent is warping slowly and becoming more South African. o.o;; I mean, I've always used a couple of their mannerisms.. saying "man" at the end of sentence (ONLY EVERY NOW AND AGAIN!!!!!1111) and the whole "mom" thing.. eh. Maybe I'm just getting paranoid.

I started knitting a black and red striped scarf recently... but its getting hot now, so ive sort of lost interest and am on to collecting Finding Nemo stickers instead.

But knitting was fun, although I could only do the basic stitch. ...and didnt get past the first band of black ...and I even managed to knit a hole into it. But it was good times, good times. I should get it out again and try and finish it by next winter, or perhaps the winter after that...

Where do you live?

I only need the basic stitch for mine, which is good. I'm not bad at it, but I've already got a few little holes - I shouldn't try to knit and use the computer at the same time. Silly.
