tell them you have a really sensitive stomach and get nauseous when they touch it!

or say you have gas? lol. i think it's weird that anyone would want to touch your belly unless you told them that he was kicking and let them feel it or something. even then i still wouldn't touch you so i dunno what goes through other people's heads.

out of two pregnancies, i somehow managed to only have my belly touched once (i won't tally the number of rude comments). the belly-toucher descended out of nowhere and had already laid her hands before i even knew what was happening.

i believe my success was due to my inapproachable-seeming demeanor. this is probably also the reason i do not make friends easily. so, use that power wisely.

Oh god, I've seen strangers touching pregnant bellies on the subway and it makes me want to kill. I can't imagine what it's like when it's your belly! You should touch theirs back, see how they like it. Or get a warning shirt.
