... does anybody know of a good method for, ah, excising an earworm? I have had a rather embarrassing song stuck in my head for an entire day now and cannot get it out.

I am also truly sorry to the robbers I captured. It's nothing personal, you understand, just doing my duty as a cop-for-the-day. At least we are all free from it now?

The only cure for a bad song stuck in one's head is to get an infinitely worse song stuck in one's head. I'm sure I could think of a few if you need.
