I am. I don't have much back where I came from, but... I don't think I need much more than that.

I planned on it. I got into a lot of fights I lost pretty quickly before I came here. Being stronger now is an advantage.

My best friend is back in Karakura--and the rest of them. I don't think I could stay and remember them without trying to find them again, Simon.

You should go find her. I don't think the Sphere is going anywhere.

I don't know if I would feel right just leaving behind everyone I knew here, though. But I suppose it cannot be helped, especially since several of them are from many different worlds.

I am selfish and want to have both. I want to be able to be with her, and stay with my family from here.

I... don't feel right doing it, but I'd feel even worse not doing it. I suppose there really aren't easy answers.

I'm going to try out the journal. I'm taking it with me and seeing if it can still deliver messages. That would already be a help.

Indeed we are. And I know that we can still love and value each other while [long pause, because this hurts to write] doing what is best for us and what is necessary for our survival. Even if that means parting for now.

Ukitake... I'll be sure how to ask for him, then. Though I will always just call him "Dad".
