Wellllllllll . . . not exactly. It was a healing spell, and it did heal his old war wounds. Just, y'know, not as expected.

As for the grinning person in Watson's dream -- to explain now would be a spoilers, sweetie. ;)

I was wondering if Watson would have wings when he awoke but I believe I like it better this way! And I think that perhaps Holmes is either doubting his sanity or restraining in his drug habit...

Awesome story! Looking forward to the continuation and to know exactly how Watson is going to disguise two enormous wings! Flying Watson!
