Newsweek on Larry King's death: "It's the assistant principal's fault! It's his foster parent's fault! It's the gay community's fault! It's the victim's fault!"

Here's a novel idea; how about we try blaming the murderer?

Please be more careful. You'd gotten my hopes up that THE Larry King was dead.

Thank you!I couldn't make it all the way through that ridiculous editorial; all the red made it hard for me to see the type.

Blaming "gay activists" for Larry King's death only serves to embolden those nutjobs who preach (and practice) violence against the LGBT community.

hi there!

"Schools are caught in between. How do you protect legitimate, personal expression while preventing inappropriate, sometimes harmful, behavior?"

Here's a fucking hint: If someone pulls out a motherfucking handgun and points it at another student, that's probably inappropriate ...

Jesus fucking christ. The kid wasn't killed because he was gay; he was killed because one of his classmates was a violent, intolerant nutjob with access to a handgun.

Maybe instead of using this to reinforce the importance of social conformity, they should use it to reinforce the importance of tolerance and NOT SHOOTING YOUR CLASSMATES.

Oh, wait. America. God damnit.
