Okay, figured it out. Call the numbers a and b -- for any number a, b = a/(a-1). So there's an infinite number of those pairs -- 3 and 1.5, for instance. That one works because 3.5 = 1.4/0.4, or if you prefer, 1.4 = 3.5/2.5. The only number that doesn't work at all is 1, since you'd have to divide by zero to make it work.
