well if you really want to make the team then you'll work your ass off to do it. you seem like you have the dedication. and you jus tneed to pull the teacher aside (shyness is no excuse) and tell her what's up. the only thing that's against you is possibly missing practices. it doesn't sound l ike that horrible of a situation.
