Set your music player on random.

List out the first line of each song. Skip instrumental songs (duh) and songs whose first line is in fact the title. Friends guess the songs.

I've included the entire first sentence even if it's more than a bar, and the whole first bar if the first line is short.

( The spec is for the first 10 songs, but I didn't stop that soon. )

All the answers you don't have are in the comments above except I Will Follow Him, which is by not a 60s girl group but a 60s girl solo act: Little Peggy March. Youngest female number 1 artist ever (she was 14), a record that still stands.

I like Freezepop because you waxed rhapsodic about them in your LJ and I sought some out so I could hear what you were talking about. It's all your fault!
