I think I'm most horrified that they're stocking two different brands.

Actually, While they are clearly different brands, I'm not at all sure they're the same stuff. One says "Silkworm pupa" and the other is "Chrysalis."

Hmmm. Same sort of thing, definitely. If they're two different types that's even worse because it means your supermarket's selling tow different kinds of canned bugs, not just offering a variety of one type.

They are not crunchy, per se. They have a rather nutty taste. (we will occasionally crack open a can at work) Not too bad, really.
