We got none. And nobody answered their door for Louisa, even though plenty of houses around here have Halloween decorations up.
Thanks for posting this. This afternoon I was remembering that you listed all the trick-or-treaters last year and hoping you'd do it again.

I will bet that if you check with whatever passes for your local government out there, you will find that Trick Or Treat Time was officially designated for some other time or day. I read someone else's post about their Trick Or Treat experience on Saturday last. Which is Not Right, but there you are.

In Gurnee and Waukegan, it was Sunday.

Here's a listing of trick or treating hours in various cities around Chicago. I don't know where Thea lives, but it might be on this list.

Nope. It was the 31st from 3-7pm.

Have you added something to your LJ layout that is giving the preview when you hover over links? I don't see that happening on links on other people's posts only yours and the comments in your posts.

LJ did that. They signed a deal with Snap Media to let them insert those things; it's supposed to just be previews to start with (to promote their "service"), but soon it'll be ads. I thought I'd opted out. Better go check.

Heathers! Cool.

We had a lot fewer trick-or-treaters this year, too.

no kids hour is often called dinner time. ;)

You'd think. But since the trick or treat times are closely proscribed (see above), there usually isn't a break; dinner happens before or after The Time. Or is comprised completely of candy.
