For those that care:
Asado is an empty space with no furniture and a yellow notice on the door from the city dated 10 October.

I have two $25 gift certificates from them.

Sort of, yeah.
My mom really loved that place, so I got a gift cert to give to her next time there's a gifty thing. And the place I got the certs was having a BOGO sale, so I ended up with one for me, too.

But $25 off a party of two would bring the bill there down to around $40, and I haven't been able to afford that since buying the certs.

Was it a stand-alone place? Maybe they have other locations? Or maybe they moved? Have you done mroe research?

Yup; one of a kind.

(And the gift certs have the address on them; even if it was a chain, these would be for this one.)
