I think this is a list of "wholly unnatural foods", and I believe that chicken nuggets belong there too.

"Food" Products of the 20th Century?

Alternately, Food Products I wouldn't touch with a Ten-Foot Pole? Frankenfoods? Food Products popular between 1950 and 1990 that are now on the decline? Food Products full of nasty transfats? Food Products that refuse to give up their transfats?

No...Jello is what it is. These things are all trying to be "better" than something that already existed.

Actually Jello IS an upgrade to old fashioned plain Gelatin which was very do it yourself and flavor it yourself.

I see what you're saying. I think it may be an edge case, because it started as a convenience, but is it's own unique thing now.
