Nono, that's okay. So, say like. There's a series of murders -- I figure Beckett's willing to share only so much, like the generic report of the crime, etc.
She tells Tony to hang on until one at least one more affiliate/cop gets there. He probably won't obey, right?
I can't speak on behalf of BV cuz that's obviously Jane's thing, but if the guild doesn't want to affiliate with the popo, Sam's already done the vigilante thing for them a couple times and would be more than willing to do it again.
That works for me! And don't forget that on an individual basis there is the availability of the consultant position, if Sam wants a paycheck.
And he's got a pretty decent balance of following orders and doing what needs to be done regardless. I think he'd be a good fit as an affiliate! Plus, more supernatural knowledge helps.
Haha Sam would feel so weird taking a paycheck from the police after so many years of taking hits from them for the same work. He'll be okay with volunteering.
Awesome! It'll give him a wider scope of the City for his journal, too. :>
Will she be making an IC post about this eventually?
I figured, but I want to be clear that there are a bunch of options that anyone can utilize. I know I ramble, but I'm a freak and I like to over-answer. Just in case someone else goes over the post and doesn't know about consultants.
I aim to help!
She will, yes. I'm hoping for soonish, depending on my schedule and interest and plotting to get it rolling. We've got the Tickler as a common enemy already so I'm going to do some brainstorming and see what I can come up with. Which means...researching all the characters and getting answers on what kind of CROWNING MOMENTS OF AWESOME people would want for their characters, and all that.
The Magic Knights have done some vigilante business in the past, when circumstances required it.
Can't speak for Justine and Jade (even if I'm quite sure Fuu and Hikaru would be all for this too) and I'm definitely poking them about it if there's interest, but Umi for one would be more than glad to lend a hand. Especially when the police must deal with supernatural, magic-using suspects or apprehend dangerous types of the sort.
Re: Curse Brigade? It's no more. It'd be amazing to get a new one started but for now I don't think anyone's worked on getting it back in shape after the G00 cast dropped. Correct me if I'm just missing something here, anyone.
Okay, go for it! I'm open to individual help too, and Beckett will be posting again looking for both recruits and affiliates soonish, maybe the next week or so.
Does the group/individuals have generally good experiences with police? Not that I'm not open to conflict, I just like to get an idea ahead of time.
I don't want it to be a huge commitment thing, but they definitely do need help in the magic/supernatural department.
Agh. I could make Curse Response a bigger part of the police but I don't want to restrict characters who hate cops...
Umi used to dislike you guys. 8D ♥ Then her City!family aka. Ken and Aya joined and now she's worried about them/impressed to see how this new force gets stuff done. So I'd say it's all good in the getting along area. Again, not speaking for the other two but LOL. They're magical girls. I don't foresee any trouble here.
Weird is what these girls do: elemental magic, fire, wind, water with a side of healing and restraining, at your service.
I mostly take him out for kitty back rides when there're pre-arranged plots, so nooooooot really? 'fraid I'd need to know exactly what kind of activity attracts the attention of both groups, tho. Got a fair notion of what would catch the police eye, but I don't exactly know what Brave Vesperia / the other groups deal with T_T
So yeah, I'll provide the gore cat, but y'all need to tell me what best works for you.
All righty! Just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be shoving anything down your throat.
Once I get a feel for what kind of characters would be on, I'll see if there's anything specific anyone wants/needs to accomplish for personal character growth or...whatever else and try to build something from there?
Hey, if not affiliation they can butt heads and whatnot. Beckett will just continue wondering why all these little girls with crazy hair are running around fighting bad guys is all xD
