As per this OOC vote, Det. Kate Beckett is the new chief. A quick note on that before I go into anything more: ICly, I'm considering just having Beckett get kind of fed up and start trying to move things forward and consequently just start taking charge. It will hopefully provide a LOT of conflict between her and the other more take-charge types. She's pretty tough, if not inexperienced with everything that can go down in the City. Feel free to throw q's at me, I'm actually kind of excited to explore her in/ability to deal with being challenged and having to accept and try to understand the powered/magic residents.
Now, onto more basic and hopefully not too complicated matters. We're gonna take it nice and easy here, judging by reactions to just a few questions and suggestions -- one step at a time if possible.
First things first, a disclaimer. Moving the police force ahead is going to be a little bumpy. We've got a few issues to work through and hopefully rather than feeling daunted, we can see it as an opportunity to have a little fun via IC conflict and OOC planning. I'd rather everyone have a say in how we run this mess and while I know not everyone will be happy all at the same time, I'm hoping for a happy medium. The PF should be an extra goody that provides CR opportunities, plot opportunities, some conflict, a little goofiness and most of all FUN.

I know a lot of issues and topics came up from the last post, but for now we're going to try to lay some groundwork on the advice of a few of you. It'll be more advantageous to us to make sure the most basic and necessary guidelines are set down so we know exactly how to proceed. Following is a list of things we plan on addressing in the near future. If you'd all think it would be advantageous we can designate a post for brainstorming and throwing around ideas, too.
Things on our plate for the future:
-Suped up characters vs stock humans
-How to make the Police Force matter
-Police dealing withs suped villains, and the villains' response, etc
