Management of the Police
Okay, hullo! It's been a while since I've said anything here because I've been leaving it all up to Eri, honestly, like the crappy mod I am. which: not fair of me, but I'ma try and step up the plate now, to an extent. I am also probably going to apply as a character called DCI Jim Keats, who I can take over the police IC with if necessary, unless someone else wants to, which would be brilliant. But I'm telling you so you can possibly take this into account.
So, I have some issues myself with all or nothing thinking, which means I look at the police, gasp in horror at my perceived notion of ALL THE STUFF THERE IS TO DO D: and then my brain shuts off. In addition to this, I personally work best if there's somebody I can bounce ideas off of once I have them.
So here are the things I could use help with/stuff I need to do:
-Eri is very good at thinking up memes and teambuilding exercises. I, however, am not so much. If anyone is skilled in that area, or is willing to at least talk with me over email (malea.botor[at]gmail.com) or AIM (moralsremitted) about this, that would be really, REALLY super. I think it's fun, and helps cement PF CR stuff
-In the Guide, there's a bit that says "Tracking Posts". However, this isn't actually quite....a thing? Is there anyone who'd be willing to go through the police posts and work out which ones ought to be tracked, possibly? Alternatively, can someone work out which posts are important and need to be added to on a regular basis so that we can put THEM under a tag for ease of access? The tags might need to become more clear, somehow
-Is there a post for keeping all cases together? Can we make sure police officers use this? It would be nice to have a record of case files
-Maybe there should be a post for known criminals. Police can compile data on them to refer back to later IC so that we'd know who's in their database or not. Would someone be willing to code a form for this? Crossreferencing in it to the casefiles?
-Can we figure out what going to happen with the police now Beckett has left? Like, decisively? Could there be a discussion in the comments about this, please?
Okay, that's all I can think of right now. Obviously, there should be more later and additionally, I'll try and do stuff that you guys can't do myself. Except for coding. I literally have no idea how to do that.
