Event Tomorrow: Day of Atonement Carnival!
Day of Atonement Carnival
Goal: To mock and blaspheme an important holiday about the Devil’s defeat because this is Hatter, for God's sake. Have fun like if were really Venice! To forget the curses/carousel/the ritual.
When: October 2nd midnight. It lasts the entire day.
Where: The Haunted Mansion.
Hosts/Sponsors: Hatter & Circus Carnivore. Kyoya Ootori & Host Club.
Security: Npcs!
1st October. Morning: Deliver of invitations with instructions of how to pick up the Masks if were to accept (either the Circus or the Host Club apartment). The boxes will only open two hours before midnight so the people could change, the masks will deforme the voices, making their identities difficult to tell. The idea is that in a Carnival their identity is unknown.
2nd October:
00:00: Opening Ball. The guests will be greeted and welcomed to join the opening celebration. The music will be more exotic, mix of Thai and from India. Cocktails will be served as well of small snacks.
2:00: The ball will be over and the guests will be taken to their rooms. There will be choices. The ‘innocent’ ones will be given those chambers downstairs and those who enjoy more sadistic and depraved amusement will be led to the first floor. Kyoya will be in charge of the events downstairs while Belial those upstairs. The rooms upstairs will have option of being shared or singles. ;) The decoration will differ, with satyrs and more sinister flavor with Belial’s butterfly everywhere (downstairs, will be decorated with roses). Each floor will have an entertainment room with video games and harmless machines down and torture devices upstairs.
8:00: New, lighter costumes will be delivered to each room.
9:00: Breakfast Held in the main Hall, a big table with variety of sweets and food they could pick on to take into a parallel table. All will be sat and share the meal together. Belial and Kyoya will be positioned on the extremes of it. Commoner’s coffee is one of the options served.
10:00: According to their floors, there will different type of activities. Poetry reading and musical acts will have a different atmosphere. The ones of the first floor will focus on erotic and violence. The ones downstairs in romance and heroism. (If this is logged, we’ll select the poems).
13:00: Lunch. Entrance: Different type of cheese served in a trail. Main Dish: Pasta with type of sauces to choose from. Dessert: Venetian Cherry Compote.
14:30: Belial’s explanation of what is celebrated that day, quoting the Bible.
15:00: Theatrical, mock representation of the Day of Atonement in the garden. Only that the Devil won’t be bind easily and will slay the angel.
16:00: Amusement in their respective floors. The male guests will receive the perfumed eggs to throw to ladies (or other men) as a display of er… flirting (a Carnival tradition). The upstairs perfume will be aphrodisiac while the downstairs one only perfume. The display of exotic animals, acrobats, jugglers and tumblers will vary. They will be taken from the Circus, downstairs; the outfits will be colorful but discreet with not so dangerous animals. Upstairs, they will wear body paint and the animals will be dangerous. Drinks and cherries will be delivered (why cherries again? Because is a diabolical food).
19:15 The guests will be free to take a bath and change into their final, more elaborated masks.
20:00 Dinner. Entrance: Pair fruits and bread with the cheeses. Main dish: Roast duck breast with a demi glace and kirschwasser dried cherry reduction. Dessert: Black Forest cake with cherries.
21: 40 The Flight of the Turk/Angel (Demon) performed by Belial.
22:00-24:00 Closing Ball, European style of music and decorations. To add flair into the scenario, Hatter will probably cast illusions about demons/angels dancing above them. The hosts will choose a queen, king and jester among the guests. We haven’t chosen the prizes yet, we’ll do it once we know the winners. Unmasking allowed only after they leave. What happens in the Carnival stays in the Carnival.
If anyone wants to log this (tomorrow, we can assume it started earlier), either separate by floors, tell Kyoya’s or Belial’s muns (Tatsie and Lorena) and we’ll set the logs. If you have in-deep questions to set your own log, by all means ask. Both floors won’t mix unless it’s indicated in the program, the security will be strict, Belial will place barriers and Kyoya is anal in this. The invitation format sample will be done tomorrow, let’s just pretend they were delivered today (sorry, we didn't find the time -_-). Characters will do a post to an open invitation soon.

ETA II: Guests will wear full masks (the lower part-mouth of the masks could be removed when they are going to eat or kiss, but not speak, just pretend Belial did a trick on them) while the hosts will wear half masks to avoid problems.
ETA III: The open, general logs started by Belial and Kyoya will be two. First one will be set in the opening of the first ball. And the second one will be set during Flight of the Turk/second ball. Your characters can have private/public logs about the day stuff as much as you want. Another subject I want to clarify, the costumes are Venice styled, they aren't Halloween disguises but the traditional or grandiose outfits of that Carnival (example in this entry). The purpose is that their identities, names, ages, gender, can be unknown. Feel free to crossdress if you want. ;)
