Magic Knight Rayearth was my first anime love, and it is my pleasure and honor to be the one to pimp it out to you guys. It's pretty old school - the anime ended in 1995 and the manga in 1996, but I don't know of a single series out there that so effectively utilizes the art of the brain-breaking plot twist and is so irreverent of genre lines. Icons, Japanese raws, bases, screencaps... ANYTHING THAT'S NEEDED I can provide. I don't think there's a piece of material about this series I don't own. It sold me to anime & manga forever.

Also, you can watch the anime online here, though I do recommend reading the manga first.

It's available on DVD. Or was, back when I bought it. :D;; All I know is that it got licensed but I'm not sure if the DVDs are available anymore.

And for the record, there are DVD versions available, and I believe you can find dual-audio over on tokyotosho. I highly suggest listening to japanese only

I think the manga is still around--my brother's girlfriend pulled out a copy of it at a bookstore once to show me the "Mokona is God!" scene. XD Although it's possible the bookstore just happened to get some copies before it went OOP.

I- I really have no idea, but you'd think it'd be gone after ~15 years. There's an omnibus edition coming, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if the regular volumes got re-released or something? idek.

Or maybe it's not gone and I'm on crack, who knows.

I think it depends on the series, really--CLAMP's still popular enough that I'm not really surprised to find even their old stuff at Border's. Buuut I don't pay that close of attention.

Yeah, I think TokyoPop is still releasing the series in weird spurts. I keep seeing it in bookstores, but the artbooks are definitely OOP.
