Cardcaptor Sakura! The thought of having to introduce this series makes me want to weep. But then again, it was my gateway drug into anime, and I've never looked back. Come on a nostalgia trip with me.
I must admit a great bias for the manga adaptation over the anime. I didn't even think about the clerk, who does actually have a name and centers an episode or two. But I almost didn't even write a profile for Sonomi when I couldn't find a manga illustration of her.
They vary their styles purposely, actually. If you're wondering why TRC and xH look so different, it's because of the rougher paper quality of those magazine's and CLAMP's desire to make all the characters extremely recognizable even by silhouette-- thus the stylization.
This is still my favorite way that they've drawn, though. Even though they said they were having trouble coming up with all the flowers they drew. XD

WHAT IF SOMEONE ONLY WANTS TO READ THE SERIES JUST FOR NADESHIKO'S DAD?

Also, fffff, you're efficient, baby. BUT WHY NO GRANDPA? >:|
And I love Yamazaki so much. Best background character in CCS, by FAR. And wow, Meiling, I REMEMBER HER!

BECAUSE GOD SRSLY YOU GUYS. Should I have done Miss Midori and the other female teacher too?
Yamazaki is awesome. He would be so cool to have. Or Meiling, even.

YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE EVERYONE EVER. LIKE THAT CLERK IN THE STORE WHERE THEY ALL GOT SUPPLIES FOR THEIR BEARS, TOO. :|
He would be amazing, I would have to resist throwing more than two characters at him, for srs.
